Online wedding invitations, free to start, with RSVPs built in

Pick a design, type your names and date, and send it tonight. Every household gets its own link, so the replies come back to one list instead of your text messages.

Can you make wedding invitations online for free?

Yes. On our Starter plan you make your invitation and a matching wedding website, email them to up to 50 guests and collect RSVPs for each event, all without entering a card. Each household opens its own link, sees the day's details and answers for everyone on the invitation.

Want something on paper too? Design a card in the card designer (it starts as a save the date, and every line can be changed), then download it as an image or a print-ready PDF for Officeworks or your local printer. When you need more guests, more designs or dietary questions, it's one payment in AUD, from $59.

How it works

From a blank page to sent, in one evening

  1. Add your names and date

Tell us who, when and where. Your invitation, website and events start filled in, so you're editing rather than starting from nothing.

  2. Choose a design and make it yours

Pick a theme, then change any words, fonts and colours. Add each event: the ceremony, the reception, Sunday's recovery barbie.

  3. Send it and watch the replies

Email every household its own link from your dashboard. Replies sort themselves into your guest list, per person and per event.

What you get

Edit everything online

Change the words, lettering, paper colour and envelope in your browser and watch it update as you type. Nothing to install.

Download as an image or PDF

Save a high-resolution PNG to share in messages, or a print-ready PDF for Officeworks or your printer.

Send it with personal RSVP links

Email is included on every plan. Signature adds WhatsApp from your own phone and printable QR reply cards; Luxe adds text messages.

Already designed one in Canva?

On Signature, upload your own design and keep our guest list, RSVPs and reminders around it.

Questions

Good to know

Is it really free?

Yes. Starter is free for up to 50 guests, with no card details and no trial that runs out. It includes your invitation and website, emailed invitations and save the dates, RSVPs for each event and a downloadable card. You only pay if you need more guests or the paid extras.

Do online invitations look less formal?

Not if the design and wording are right. Most guests now expect a link, and an online invitation carries more than a card can: the timings, a map, where to stay and the RSVP. For a formal wedding, choose a classic theme and formal wording.

Can I print my invitation as well?

Yes. Download a print-ready PDF and print it at home, at Officeworks or with any printer. A PNG is handy for sending in a message.

How do guests RSVP?

Each household opens its own link and answers for everyone on the invitation, event by event. On Essentials and up they can add dietary needs and bring a plus-one when you allow one.

What about guests who don't use email?

Send their link by WhatsApp from your own phone (Signature) or by text message (Luxe, 200 texts), post a card with a QR code (Signature), or take their answer over the phone and enter it yourself.

How far ahead should invitations go out?

Usually 8–12 weeks before the day, with save the dates 6–12 months ahead. Allow longer for posted invitations, interstate guests and long weekends.

Can we change details after sending?

Yes. Change a time or a venue on your website and everyone sees it the next time they open their link. For a big change, send everyone a short email too.
